Back to Basics.
Remember when you first started chiropractic care, you were probably
motivated initially by pain or discomfort, and were recommended by a loved one that you should get an assessment by a Nervana Chiropractor.
So you did and got assessed and learnt that by improving the function of your spine and leading a more balanced lifestyle that your body has a far better ability to heal. As you started getting adjusted and learning more about the body’s natural ability to heal you started sleeping better, movement became easier, and your determination to do whatever it took to get well and stay well was at an all time high.
Now, as your frequency of care slowly lessened as the spinal function returned you again going back so some of your “old habits.” Slouching on the couch, not walking every day, not eating well, and not stretching. Even missing your visit to the chiropractor!
Now you’re thinking, …mmm, I wonder why I’m having some of the same health issues that I had in the beginning.
Well it’s time to get back to the basics. Remember you can’t just have one healthy meal and expect to be healthy the rest of your life. You can’t go for one walk or run and expect to never have to exercise again to maintain your fitness. And you can’t have one adjustment and expect that years of misuse and degeneration are going to change straight away.
