Priorities
We all have them, and they change from time to time. At one time our priority may be caring for a sick family member, or earning money to pay the mortgage, or hanging out with friends. It could be working on getting a promotion at work, spending time with your loved ones, or improving your health.
Whatever the priorities we have, they directly determine our lives. Our priorities come from our core values and beliefs. They reflect those values in daily activities.
Most of us become frustrated when we feel that we are “forced” to go against our priorities. We know that we must exercise for our health, however the kids need to be picked up from school! We want to see an old friend while they are in town, however your work needs you to stay late and finish a project!
At Nervana we understand that these priorities may change from time to time, but having seen thousands of cases of people not placing a priority on their health we would like to recommend keeping health within your top five priorities.
People usually only appreciate the value of their health when it is taken away from them.
If health isn’t in your top five priorities at one point it will demand to be number one!
Ask your Nervana chiropractor what simple things you can do to increase healthy activities into your daily lives.
