Meet the team
DR. OLIVIA GLEESON (CHIROPRACTOR)
Olivia is a co-founder of the Nervana group, Chiropractor, Mum to triplets Clancy, Will and Tom and wife to Mick. Outside of work she enjoys time with her family, travel, good food and embraces a healthy lifestyle.
Olivia graduated from RMIT University in Melbourne in 1998. When she graduated she moved to Perth and worked as an associate for 4 years before starting her own business. Olivia has completed a two year diplomate in Chiropractic Paediatric Neuro-development and has a keen interest in women’s health, babies, kids and family health. Olivia has presented at conferences around Australia to maternity hospitals, playgroups, schools, principals and maternal child health nurses. In 2013 she won a “40 Under 40” business award for contributions to the Perth business sector.
DR. CAITLIN NUGENT-O’LEARY (CHIROPRACTOR)
Caitlin grew up in the rural countryside of New Zealand and studied Chiropractic at the New Zealand College of Chiropractic. Caitlin decided to make the big move to Australia after she graduated and found that Perth was the perfect fit for the healthy lifestyle that she loves to embrace.
Caitlin is passionate about overall health for both herself and her patients. She presents on topics including nutrition, exercise and chiropractic and enjoys travel, family time in NZ wherever possible and crossfit training.
Dr MICHELLE VAN DOORN (CHIROPRACTOR)
Growing up in a household of health care professionals, as well as receiving chiropractic care from the age of 14, Michelle understood the importance of living a health conscious lifestyle and optimising the brain-body connection. This lead her to follow a career path in Chiropractic, after completing a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience.
Michelle has since had the opportunity to provide Chiropractic care in Siliguri, India and Darwin before joining Nervana Palmyra. Michelle has a deep and growing passion in women’s health and pregnancy care and loves working with and empowering families and children to live life to their optimal potential. This has driven her towards completing additional training and furthering her knowledge in pregnancy and women’s health and is currently completing an Advanced Diploma in Paediatric Chiropractic.
In her spare time, Michelle thrives off being around family and friends, expressing herself through art and loves to travel and explore new places.
